The Quality cannabis Program

Founded in 2022, the Quality Cannabis Program membership is comprised of forward thinking business owners in the cannabis industry who are interested in an even higher standard of quality control on the medicines we create and distribute to our patients. The QCP exclusively represents Metrc compliant and OMMA licensed cannabis businesses.

The QCP is leading the charge to protect the legal cannabis industry and its patients. All quality medicinal cannabis businesses are encouraged to go through our thorough intake process. This process ensures companies certified by the QCP are well vetted and provide quality and consistent plant medicine. We want consumers to be confident, that anywhere they see the QCP seal of approval they are getting safely grown and processed, quality medication.

The QCP aims to create an environment where a socially and ethically responsible cannabis industry is the standard. We work together with cannabis cultivators and processors to ensure this standard is maintained.

Why was the QCP Created?

The medical cannabis market is flooded with thousands of products, creating an expensive and time consuming process for dispensary owners to determine which brands are going to be the best for their patients. Our aim is to streamline that process, making it an easier and more cost effective solution for dispensary owners to know which brands create the highest quality products in Oklahoma. Anywhere you see the QCP approval seal, dispensary owners and patients alike can trust that they are getting clean, safe and effective cannabis products.

The Importance of Joining the QCP:

Once growers and processors have completed the intake process and passed our specific quality measures, they will be able to display the QCP seal on the approved product’s packaging. The QCP approval seal makes it easier for patients to quickly and easily identify ethically produced cannabis products resulting in a more transparent market place benefitting the businesses that are QCP approved.

Growers Quality Responsibility

Once growers and processors have completed the intake process and passed our specific quality measures, they will be able to display the QCP seal on the approved product’s packaging. The QCP approval seal makes it easier for patients to quickly and easily identify ethically produced cannabis products resulting in a more transparent market place benefitting the businesses that are QCP approved.

Our top priority is the health of our patients. The QCP believes that the quality of the environment medicinal Cannabis is grown in is of the utmost importance. That is why we are working toward seeing health conscious, sustainable organic cannabis farms across Oklahoma.

We are focused on helping growers create the highest quality environment possible for cannabis cultivation. Not only will this give the patients and dispensary owners peace of mind, but it will also set our vetted cultivators apart, increasing their bottom line as well. Once you have applied for membership certification in the Quality Cannabis Program, our experts will visit your grow, make suggestions and do anything we can to ensure you better serve Oklahoma patients.

Processors Quality Responsibility

Processors may also apply for certification through the QCP for their products. Our goal with processors is to keep the patients educated on the production process for cannabis products like distillate or concentrates.

Testing in the state of Oklahoma has yet to be standardized. Even county to county the rules of growing and processing may differ. Everything from how often inspections take place, to the type of cleaning products used on testing equipment, can effect the quality and accuracy of cannabis testing.

The QCP works with processors to ensure the creation of quality, monitored and controlled cannabis products across the state of Oklahoma. Guidelines are given to processors on how to source and process the best quality cannabis plants creating the safest and most effective medical cannabis products.

Certification Services:

The QCP provides certification services that are customized and accessible. It is our priority to work closely with applicants through each stage of the certification process. Once qualified you will receive access to our seal of approval for each of your certified products.

This is another way the QCP is making life easier for medical cannabis patients and dispensaries in the state of Oklahoma by easily informing them of the market’s top of the line products!
